The news of the marriage between them spread like wildfire when a user posted the rumor on an online community. The user wrote, 'Gong Yoo is getting married and he reserved Shilla hotel according to the staff there. He's marrying Jung Yoo Mi.
In response to media reports, their agency Soop Entertainment stated, ' we are releasing an official statement to address the rumors spreading online. The rumor is totally false. We will take necessary actions against rumors and malicious comments from now on.'
Gong Yoo and Jung Yoo Mi previously acted in the films “Silenced” and “Train to Busan” together.
