[Korean Stars' Real Personality] Seolhyun

There are many beautiful Korean female celebrities, but it's true that many of them got plastic surgeries. And some of their faces look so unnatural and emotionless, which draw unwelcome attention from the public. But, unlike the artificial plastic beauties, Seolhyun succeeded in catching eyes of people by showing off her innocent and natural appearance. After appearing in a commercial for SK Telecom, AOA's Seolhyun became the hottest female idol star in Korea. She's been active as a model for various brands, while she was also appointed as PR ambassador for Korea's general selection. She's now one of the highest-paid female kpop idols. Yeah, it seems like nothing can stop her.

The notable thing about Seolhyun’s real personality is that she is very mild and meek. The natural beauty behaves in natural ways as if she is an ordinary young girl, and this is why she finds favor in everyone's sight. She is a little bit shy, and she usually says softly and quietly in front of a stranger.

Well, here’s the one who knows much better about Seolhyun than me. Check out what Seolhyun’s middle school classmate talked about her.

I was in the same class with Seolhyun when we were middle school seniors. When she participated in the Smart Model Contest, I wanted to reveal her real personality to the public but I didn't because she was not that popular at that time. Actually, I'm so happy now because she is doing great as a member of a girl group. I know there are many idols who have a somewhat sordid past, but Seolhyun is different. Unlike the other teens who dreamed of becoming singers, Seolhyun was very good-hearted and polite. I'm sure nobody who was in our school hates her.

She was really pretty but was an easy-going person. She was not a prude and she ate very well. And she did well in school and was in the top five of the class. Her best friend was the top student in our class. Even though I was not really close to her, she always kindly taught me a lot of things when I asked her about study. She was loved not only by her classmates but also by teachers. At first, I didn't want her to be an idol because idols are criticized by people for no reason. The good-hearted girl does not deserve to experience such a thing.
